Welcome to Little Thao Studio!

Little Thao Studio is my cozy home studio — truly, it’s my little craft room where I pour my heart, passion, and time into creating pieces that bring joy and cheerfulness to others.

I often feel incredibly lucky to do what I love and to embrace the small, simple happiness in everyday life. As a mom of two, a wife, and a businesswoman living on the beautiful Vancouver Island, I find endless inspiration in the natural world around me, the simplicity of daily moments, and the innocence and magical imagination of children. Honestly, I often find myself lost in my own little “Lalaland.”

I chose the name Little Thao Studio because I wanted to give myself space to explore more than just painting. Like many businesses with a vision, I’m so happy to share mine: “Little things make you happy.”

Most of my artwork is done in watercolor, though you’ll also find touches of gouache and mixed media throughout. I may not be the best with words, but I hope my paintings tell their own stories — and spark your imagination. My greatest joy is knowing someone out there enjoys my art as much as I enjoyed creating it.
